Made with 48% organically grown shea butter and the rest is wild crafted virgin palm kernel oil. The lye is made from the ash of dried banana leaves and the bark of the agoe tree. The black colour is due to the saponification process. African black soap is one of the healthiest soaps for the skin due to the purity and simplicity of the ingredients.
