Cool Complexions; your skin has a cool, bluish foundation tone. The hair has a cool, ash tone and ranges from blonde to dark brown. Colours that suit are black, light grey, pink, cold rose, lilac, claret, ice blue, marine, silver, mint and stone grey.
Warm complexions; you skin has a yellow - golden foundation tone. The hair has a warm gold shimmer or honey tone and ranges from middle blonde to gold - brown and red to brown. Colours that suit you are tomato, chocolate brown, cream, salmon, apricot, olive, brick red, orange and moss green.
To test if you are warm or cool hold some gold coloured material under you chin, then some silver coloured cloth. Cool complexions will glow with the silver and appear tired with gold, whereas warm complexions will look fresher with the gold cloth and pale or washed out with the silver.
